STEP II

MYLF STEP II is the next step in providing leadership training to MYLF alumni as they transition from high school into the workforce.  This 5 day long program is offered once a year at Carroll College, and brings back alumni from the previous year and MYLF Mini’s.

The goals of MYLF STEP II are:

¨ High school students with disabilities will become empowered and encouraged to reach their employment goals.

¨ High school students with disabilities will be knowledgeable about resources available to them to become successful, employed adults.

¨ High school students with disabilities will be exposed to professionals with disabilities who are recognized leaders and role models.

¨ High school students with disabilities will become employable and self-sufficient as they transition into the work force.

MONTANA YOUTH TRANSITIONS

To improve transition services and increase the number of youth with disabilities who achieve their desired post-school outcomes.
