“Regardless of our individual experiences and superficial appearances we all share one integral human similarity, the need to feel valued, productive and connected.”
"I liked the program because it gives me tons of support and I don't have any anxiety anymore as to whether there will be help available to me. This program is amazing. It showed me that I could do anything I wanted to and it's alot easier than I thought it would be. It was inspirational for me."
“It’s not possible for people with disabilities to truly integrate until we are recognized as having pride in who we are as disabled people.”
The ONLY disability in life is a bad attitude!
“I learned to put out the bad and bring in the good. There is a lot of technology out there for those who are disabled. I met many kids with different disabilities and how they cope with those disabilities.”
“MYLF has been such a great experience for me. I have learned great leadership skills and I have also learned that it is ok to have a disability it doesn’t make you any less wonderful.”
No one can do everything but Everyone can do something.
